International guests from Canada, London, Mexico and Singapore were ‘very impressed’ by what this little country has to offer.
Earlier this month Bahamas Realty’s Elite Properties team hosted International Business and Finance Summit (IBFS) attendees to a tour of New Providence.
Luxury property specialists Bahamas Realty’s own Silvina Andrews and Ana Wassitsch led the tour at the invitation of the Bahamas Financial Services Board (BFSB) which asked the experts in high-end properties to host the first day of their 2018 International Business and Finance Summit (IBFS) held at the Baha Mar resort, Cable Beach.
Silvina and Ana showed the best of the best to international professionals in wealth management, financial services, banking, legal and global enterprises. Visitors familiar with other destinations in the region said they were wowed by what they saw in and around Nassau. And they saw the island from coast to coast.
The Bahamas Realty dynamic duo arranged for a tour and lunch hosted by Albany, then took guests along scenic West Bay Street, on to historic Bay Street, over the bridge to exclusive Ocean Club Estates and finally to Palm Cay on the island’s southeastern coast. There guests were treated to a sunset champagne reception before a wrap-up at One Cable Beach for cocktails and a presentation of Aristo Development’s contemporary multi-level condominiums on Cable Beach and Paradise Island.
The IBFS summit, hailed as a great success, attracted over 170 registrants. The event, which was held under the theme “Hitting the Reset Button”, brought together key stakeholders, executives, local and international thought leaders for a day of meaningful discussions on the next steps towards ensuring that the Bahamas remains a financial global contender and the international financial centre of choice. Delegates heard from local speakers as well as international speakers from the United Kingdom, Canada, Miami and Singapore.
